An operating system for allied health practice owners.

Plain-language playbooks and exercises for owners who want to spend less time propping the practice up and more time running it. Written by a practice owner, for practice owners.

Where practices get stuck

Most owners are carrying the same five problems.

You can be a good clinician and still end up as the bottleneck in your own business. These are the places it usually shows.

Too many hours in the room

Every decision, every hard patient and every rostering gap lands on the owner. The practice cannot grow past one person.

Empty slots and cancellations

Late cancellations and unfilled diary time quietly cost more than most owners track.

Patients leaving care early

People stop coming before the plan is finished, and nobody follows up in a way that feels like care.

Team and turnover

Hiring, developing and keeping good practitioners takes a system, not goodwill.

Money you cannot see

Billing, claims and reconciliation sit in someone’s head or a spreadsheet, and the numbers arrive late.

Software that gets in the way

Tools that make the front desk slower, or that nobody trusts, add to the work they were meant to remove.

How Aurora works

Measure it. Read it. Work it.

1

Score your practice

A short self-score across the areas that move a practice. It shows where you are strong and where the time is going. In development.

2

Read the playbook

Short, practical write-ups on each area, in plain language. Text and exercises, not a video library.

3

Work the exercises

Each area ends with something to do in your own practice this week. The aim is a practice that runs without you in the middle of it.

Who this is for

Built for practice owners, not just clinicians.

Aurora is written for the owner of an allied health practice, the person carrying the roster, the money and the patient experience all at once. If that is not your role, there may still be something useful here, but the playbook is written with the owner’s week in mind. See who Aurora is for.

Status

Aurora is not on sale yet.

We are building it carefully, using what works in a working multidisciplinary practice. Nothing here is a promise of results, and nothing is for sale. If you want to follow along, find us on Instagram or X. Read more about Aurora.

Questions

A few common questions

Is Aurora for sale yet?

No. Aurora is still being built and tested in a working multidisciplinary practice. Nothing on this site is for sale yet.

Do I need to buy software to use it?

No. Aurora is a playbook of text and exercises, not a piece of software. Praxia is a separate, related product that builds practice software, but Aurora itself does not require you to buy anything.

Is my information collected if I visit this site?

This website does not collect personal information through its own forms, it has none. Where you do enquire or book, that happens through a separate booking and contact system embedded on the page, not through WordPress.

Who is Aurora written for?

Owners of allied health practices who want to spend less time propping the practice up and more time running it. See who Aurora is for for more detail.
