About Aurora

What is Aurora?

Aurora is a plain-language playbook, text and exercises, for allied health practice owners. It is built around the problems most owners actually hit: too much time in the room, a diary that will not stay full, patients leaving care early, team turnover and money that is hard to see clearly.

Is Aurora for sale yet?

No. Aurora is in development and is not currently on sale. This site shows what it covers and where things stand. We will say clearly here when that changes.

Is Aurora a video course or a software platform?

No. Aurora is a playbook, written text and practical exercises you work through and apply in your own practice. It is not a video library and it is not a piece of software.

How does Aurora relate to Praxia?

Aurora and Praxia are sister brands. Aurora covers the operating side of running a practice, the playbook. Praxia (see praxiaclinical.com) builds the software side. They are separate products and you can use either one without the other.

Who writes Aurora?

Aurora is led by Andrew Romano, who runs a multidisciplinary allied health practice. The content comes from running a real clinic, not from theory.

Does Aurora guarantee results?

No, and we would be cautious of anyone who tells you it will. Every practice starts from a different place, with a different team, patient mix and history. Aurora gives you a plain-language way to see where a practice is stuck and a practical way to work on it. What you do with it, and how consistently you apply it, is what decides the outcome.

The playbook and the self-score

What does the playbook actually cover?

Six areas that come up in almost every practice: owner time, the diary and cancellations, keeping patients in care, team and development, billing and money, and systems and software. Each area is short and practical rather than theoretical.

How is the playbook meant to be used?

One area at a time, in your own practice. Each section is written to be read in one sitting and then tried, not just filed away.

Do I need any particular software or system to use the playbook?

No. The playbook is written to work with whatever booking, billing or patient system you already use. It is about how you run the practice, not which tools you run it on.

What is the self-score?

A short, private self-assessment covering the diary, patients, team and money. It is meant to show you, in plain language, where a practice is strong and where it is stuck, with a pointer to the part of the playbook that applies.

When will the self-score be ready?

It is still in development and is not live yet. We will publish it on this site, on the KPI self-score page, as soon as it is ready. There is no fixed date to announce yet.

Will there be a cost for the self-score?

Nothing has been decided or announced about pricing. If and when there is a cost, it will be stated plainly before you use it.

What happens on a practice review call?

It is a conversation about where your practice is stuck right now and whether the playbook is a sensible fit for you. There is no script and no pressure to commit to anything on the call. If it is not a fit, we will say so.

How do I get in touch or book a call now?

Use the booking calendar or enquiry option on this site. Those are provided by a secure external service, not a form built into WordPress, which is explained further in the privacy questions below.

Privacy and data

Does this website collect personal information?

No. This WordPress site does not include contact forms and does not store personal information. Standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider, such as the time of a visit and the page requested, purely to keep the site running and secure.

If there is a booking calendar or enquiry button, isn’t that a form?

Any booking calendar or enquiry tool you see embedded on this site is provided and hosted by a separate, secure external service, not built into WordPress. Details you enter there are handled by that service under its own privacy terms, not stored on this website.

What are the Australian Privacy Principles, in plain terms?

They are the rules under Australian law for how organisations should collect, use, store and disclose personal information, and how people can access or correct what is held about them. In practice, they mean we only collect what we need, say what it is for, and give you a way to ask questions or have it removed.

How do I unsubscribe from an Aurora email?

Aurora does not currently run any live email automations. Once any email communication is active, every message will carry a clear unsubscribe link, and any request to stop contact will be honoured promptly.

Will Aurora ever text or email me without me asking first?

No. Aurora does not send unsolicited email or SMS. Any contact only follows from something you have actively done, such as booking a call or asking a question.

Who do I contact about privacy or data questions?

You can reach Aurora through our social accounts, listed on this site. The full privacy page has more detail and will be updated as soon as anything about data collection changes.
